We got home at noon on Friday, I had just enough time to get in the shower, then head up to the Church and start cooking for the dinner I was catering on Saturday night. Our Pastor's daughter go married and the reception was for just under 300. 2 Friends that work with me at the school helped out. We made marinated lemon pepper chicken, BBQ meatballs, cheese potatoes, greenbeans, wild rice pilaf, greenbeans with almonds, wilted lettuce with mandarine oranges, and cesar salad. We cooked everything at the church, then hauled it out to the reception hall, which was a chore in 95 degree weather. It went off without a hitch, and everyone was pleased with the meal. We spent 5 hours on Fri preping everything and 14 hours on Sat. cooking everything, we got home a little after midnight after hauling everything back to the Church and cleaning up.
